Primary Fibrinogenolysis Assoeiated with Lymphosarcoma Cell Leukemia

Abstract

|
We experienced a case of lymphosarcoma cell leukemia with severe bleeding tendency
due to primary fibrinogenolysis.
The diagnosis of the lymphosarcoma cell leukemia was made by the typical peripheral
blood and bone marrow findings as well as clinical features. The laboratory findings
were compatible with primary fibrinolysis which included hypofibrinogenemia to 10㎎/d1,
FDP over 40μg/㎖, normal coagulation factors, negative paracoagulation test and
negative fibrinopeptide A test.
After first course of CHOP combination chemotherapy, the patient went to the
complete remission with disappearance of lymphosarcorna cell leukemia as well as
clinical features of primary fibrinogenolysis.
